Lil Nas X has dropped the new single and controversial video for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).”

The song gets its name from Lil Nas’ legal name. He wrote a letter to 14-year-old Montero explaining the song and what it is about.

A press release for the video says Nas, “harnesses his sexuality to strip the devil of his power as an evil force — and dismantling the throne of judgment and punishment that has kept many of us from embracing our true selves out of fear.”

References of Greek mythology and the bible litter the video as well as a scene where Nas gives Satan a lap dance. Lil Nas X writes in the letter that he will be criticized for “pushing an agenda,” to which his response is, “I am. The agenda to make people stay the f—k out of other people’s lives and stop dictating who they should be.

The video is#1 on YouTube and is HERE, but keep in mind it’s unedited, there’s a lap dance on Satan and a bunch of swear words, so use discretion!
