Mariah Carey Thought The Chainsmokers Were One Direction

The Chainsmokers just announced a tour with 5 Seconds of Summer and during a recent interview, talked about that one time they met Mariah Carey at an awards show. She thought they were One Direction.

Alex Pall was saying they were all starstruck and she said “Dude I love you guys” and he’s all “You know who we are?? And she’s all like “One Direction, right?”  She has since learned who they are and tweeted to joke about the incident!
