Dwayne Johnson Wants To Be The Next James Bond

The Rock wants to throw his name in the hat to be the next James Bond, and he’s got familial ties to the franchise!
“My grandfather [Peter Maivia] was a Bond villain in ‘You Only Live Twice’ with Sean Connery. Very, very cool,” Dwayne told Esquire recently. (You Only Live Twice was a Bond movie released in 1967.)
He then said, “I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond. I don’t want to be a villain. Gotta be Bond.”
