Tom Hanks Proves He Was Meant To Play Mister Rogers In This New Trailer

Sony Pictures Entertainment released the first trailer for “A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood,” and it basically just proves Tom Hanks was BORN to play Mister Rogers.
The movie tells the story of a jaded and cynical journalist who’s assigned to write a profile piece for Esquire magazine about television icon Fred Rogers. Along the way, Rogers shows the reporter how kindness and empathy can leave a lasting impression on the lives of strangers.
The film is based on the real-life friendship between Rogers and journalist Tom Junod.
“A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood” is scheduled to hit theaters on November 22nd.
