Netflix has issued an apology for the “inappropriate” marketing poster it released for its upcoming original film “Cuties.”  They recently began advertising the movie, which won an award at Sundance, ahead its release on September 9th.

However, Netflix has received an onslaught of backlash over the chosen artwork, which many critics are saying sexualizes children. Netflix tweeted an apology calling the artwork “inappropriate” and “not OK”, but that isn’t enough for those wanting them not to stream the movie at all.

There is a Change.org petition to get it removed.
