Taylor Swift sold 450,000 copies of her new album ‘Lover’ in the first day…might have something to do with the fact there are four different versions of the albums featuring pages from her diary. The songs are the same, but the diary pages are different. In one of those pages were her thoughts on the Kanye West VMA scandal 10 years ago.

Dated Sept. 18, 2009, it was written five days after West crashed the stage as she won the award for female video of the year for “You Belong With Me.”

“Ahh… the things that can change in a week,” “If you had told me that one of the biggest stars in music was going to jump on stage and announce that he thought I shouldn’t have won on live television, I would’ve said, ‘That stuff doesn’t really happen in real life,‘ ”

“Well… apparently…. It does,” she ended the note.

Taylor celebrated the release of Lover by playing a private acoustic session for a SiriusXM Town Hall. During the session, she talked about which song of hers is the most emotionally charged and will likely be too difficult for her to play during a live show.  She said hersong with the Dixie Chicks, “Soon You’ll Get Better,” was the most difficult to write. For that reason, the singer doubts she’ll ever be able to play it live. She doesn’t say it’s about her mom’s battle with cancer, but it was written during that time and fits.

“That’s a song I don’t know if I’ll ever play it live,” she said. “It’s just really difficult for me. It was hard to write. It’s hard to sing. It’s hard to listen to for me. But sometimes, music is like that. Sometimes it’s not just about stuff that was pleasant to feel.”

What about her boyfriend Joe Alwyn?  Did she talk about him during her interview on CBS Sunday Morning?  He’s off limits. She appears to have learned a lesson about being in a relationship publicly.
