Thanks to a new partnership with Microsoft, Netflix if offering subscribers a cheaper option that will have ads. This is largely in response to losing 200,000 subscribers in the first quarter of this year, and bracing to lose another 2 million in the second quarter!  They blame inflation, more competition and passwords being shared with over 100 million non-paying households.

 

It’s still in the early stages with no rollout date set, but there will be tiered options.
