Furniture Mogul Sets Record With His $4.5 Million Bet The Bengals Will Win The Super Bowl

Houston furniture salesman Jim McIngvale aka ‘Mattress Mack’ has been known to place crazy high sports bets before. But this is his biggest mobile bet yet…he’s betting $4.5 million that the Bengals will beat the Rams on Sunday. If they come through, McIngvale stands to gain $7.7 million.

SI Sportsbook has the Bengals at the 4.5 underdog.  But McIngvale isn’t taking the points…he just likes the Bengals. It’s reportedly the single biggest mobile bet of all-time, and the system wouldn’t allow it to be place as one lumps sum. McIngvale told ESPN, “I had to make like twenty $200,000 bets to make it work.” His track record has been up and down…he won big last year putting $3.5 million down on the Buccaneers.  But he LOST on a more than $13 million bet on the Astros to win the World Series. Oopsies.
