Director of “Framing Britney Spears” Documentary Answers Questions

Producer / Director Samantha Stark opens up about how difficult it was to tell Britney Spears’ story without actually having any contact with Britney or her family.  The unauthorized doc looks into the conservatorship that Brit has been until for years and the #FreeBritney​ movement. Fans have long thought Britney’s father was a sort of evil dictator running her life against her will.

Stark also reveals how Britney’s former long-time assistant and Spears family friend Felicia Culotta became involved in the documentary after years of turning down interview requests.

The New York Times Presents ‘Framing Britney Spears’ debuted simultaneously on FX and FX on Hulu on Feb. 5.
