You Can Take Louisville Shelter Dogs on Field Trips

As much as we want to, we can’t adopt all the dogs and puppies at the local animal shelters. BUT, Louisville Metro Animal Services has created “field trips”!

So here’s how it works: Anyone who wants to participate has to attend at least one orientation class. Once that is complete, volunteers can take a dog on a field trip for a minimum of one hour, but not overnight, as many times as they’d like.

LMAS will provide all of the necessary supplies, including leash, harness, treats, bowls and doggy seat belt.

Okay this is pretty amazing. Click here for more info!
