‘Watchmen’ Streaming for Free on Juneteenth
Starting on Juneteenth HBO will be streaming their highly-acclaimed series ‘Watchmen’ for free. The free stream will begin on HBO Friday afternoon starting at 1 p.m. with all episodes following in succession and just in case you don’t have HBO, the series will also be available for free on HBO.com and On Demand.

If you’re not familiar with ‘Watchmen’ the series is based on the graphic novel of the same name and the series received acclaim for its portrayal of racism, police brutality, and other injustices in 1921 Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day marks the day in 1865 when the Emancipation Proclamation went into effect throughout the Confederate States of America.
