Alessia Cara Releases New Single, ‘Rooting For You’

Alessia Cara has released a new summer single, “Rooting For You,” which Cara sings about a summer romance that ends too soon.

The catchy song caught the attention of John Mayer who shared the single to his Instagram with the caption: “I only wish I wrote this one.”

The song follows the previously released, “Ready” and will be featured on Cara’s upcoming EP This Summer, which drops on September 6th.
