Toys For Tots Helping Out Kids During The Pandemic

Toys For Tots is helping to keep kids busy during the pandemic by distributing 2 million books, toys and games across the country to needy families.

The president and CEO, Lt. General Jim Laster said, “While Marine Toys for Toys foundation is known as a Christmas time charity, we don’t want to wait until next holiday season to lessen the fear and anxiety of our children.”

Donations from Hasbro, Build-A-Bear, Lego, Disney, Funko and Five Below will help this project.

Speaking of donating toys, 11-year-old Lilly from Houston is holding another toy drive to give back to kids of parents who are working on the front lines of the pandemic.  She first did something like this when she was 8 after Hurricane Harvey.
