Timothée Chalamet showed up to his own look-alike contest in Lower Manhattan, and posed for pics with his doppelgängers. Many competing were dressed as his characters from Wonka and Dune. And some of them were so good, fans mistook them for the real Chalamet, which drew a huge crowd in Washington Square Park. It got so big, police ended up dispersed the group and organizers were fined for hosting an “unpermitted costume contest” and a few arrests were made.

Despite the disruption, the event moved to another location, where the top prize was a whopping $50! The winner was Miles Mitchell, a Staten Island resident and college senior.
