Meet Paiton Goodman. She’s a freshman at Corydon Central High School is on a mission.  She wanted to make sure the special needs students at the elementary, middle and high schools in Corydon know they are loved and feel special. She wanted to raise money to buy them all calming stuffed animals (Scentsy Buddies, pictured below) and stockings with goodies for all the students!

UPDATE: She reached her goal and had a $100 leftover!  She decided to do something special with that leftover money, too. The younger sister of a classmate just got diagnosed with cancer, so she sent the money to that family as they are at Riley Children’s Hospital. Good choice Paiton!

She started this crusade back in 4th grade when she used her allowance money to buy candy grams for all the students. In the following years, she baked and sold cupcakes to raise money to take the students to the movies…and even the Louisville Zoo complete with backpacks of goodies!

What a great example of a good human!
