'The Office' Is Leaving Netflix...In 2021

You were warned…and now we know when exactly ‘The Office’ is disappearing from Netflix. Beginning early 2021, NBCUniversal will yank it from Netflix to put it on its upcoming streaming service.

We're sad that NBC has decided to take The Office back for its own streaming platform — but members can binge watch the show to their hearts' content ad-free on Netflix until January 2021

This one’s going to hurt many, as it was streamed for over 52 billion minutes in 2018 alone. Netflix paid between $70 and $100 million to retain old sitcoms like ‘The Office’ and ‘Friends’, and they are still hugely important to their business model.
