The Entire Cast Of ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Are Free To Get Other Jobs

Well this isn’t looking good for season 56 of the long-running soap. The entire cast of “Days of Our Lives” was released from their contracts. They haven’t flat out said it’s canceled for good, but it’s on indefinite hiatus.
The network is expected to decide in early 2020 whether to bring it back for season 56. The good news is that they have enough episodes in the can to last through next summer. If the show does come back, it’s possible the same actors will be back at lower salaries.
