Commuters on a subway car in New York City were treated to a Thanksgiving feast earlier this week. Passengers in the L train were given plates full of turkey, mashed potatoes and cornbread.

Stand-up comedian Jodell “Joe Show” Lewis organized the Thanksgiving dinner to bring “a little excitement to commuters.”

He said he chose the L train after seeing how “dreary and upset” commuters were because of construction that has cut service on the line.
