Taylor Swift encouraged her fans to follow the celebs that pop up in her latest music video, “You Need to Calm Down,” one of which being Ryan Reynolds.  The only problem was the handle she tweeted belongs to Ryan Reynolds, sports director at the Courier & Press in Evansville, IN. Oops.

“It happens all the time, honestly,” journalist Reynolds told Page Six on Monday. “Gwen Stefani did it a few months ago and was really sweet about it when it was pointed out to her. Richard Marx, Oprah and plenty of other celebrities have done it, too.”

He thanked her for the love and directed her to the Ryan Reynolds account she was looking for….@VancityReynolds.

Shortly after realizing her error, Swift corrected the tweet and linked to the actor’s handle.
