Ugh this is so heartbreaking! Surveillance footage released Thursday shows Naya Rivera and her 4-year-old son setting off alone on a Southern California lake — for a boat ride that would end in tragedy, with the actress missing and presumed dead.

The video, from a camera at Lake Piru, shows Rivera pulling up Wednesday in a black Jeep, wearing shorts and a baseball hat, and helping son Josey hop out, before grabbing a bag of supplies from the trunk.

The pair can then be seen walking toward the docks, where they’re met by a staffer who leads them to a pontoon.

After a couple of minutes in the vessel, the mother-and-son depart on the calm, open waters, the sun shining brightly.

The 16-minute video ends with the boat moving out of sight on the reservoir in Ventura, about 56 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Naya Rivera’s 4-year-old son was wearing a life jacket — but she wasn’t.

Hours later, Josey would be found sleeping alone on the boat in his life jacket, by dock staffers who launched a search when Rivera, the former “Glee” actress, didn’t return the boat as planned.

The boy told authorities that he and his mother had gone swimming, and that he got back on the vessel but “his mom never made it out of the water.”

“Investigators believe Rivera drowned in what appears to be a tragic accident.” A search for her remains is underway.
