Many restaurants and businesses want to thank Veterans on this Veteran’s Day!

There undoubtedly will be several specials to honor veterans this Veterans Day, but out of all of them, this is one you can’t pass up! Olive Garden will be thanking service members with free pasta and breadsticks.

Members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marines can select from an array of pasta dishes which include: cheese ravioli, chicken parmigiana, chicken piccata, lasagna Classico or spaghetti with meat sauce.

Amazon – Active military and veterans can get Amazon Prime for $79 instead of the regular $119 from Nov. 6-11.

Applebees  Complimentary meal for active military members and veterans. There are six meals to choose from. Dine-in only. No substitutions, upgrades or add-ons. Beverages, taxes and gratuity not included.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse – Current and former military can enjoy free entree up to $14.95 and a free Dr. Pepper beverage.

Bob Evans – One free item from special menu for veterans and active duty military. Dine-in only. Beverage not included. Not valid with other offers, discounts and coupons.

Bonefish Grill – Free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer for veterans and active-military members.

Buffalo Wild Wings – Offer valid for one small order traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.

California Pizza Kitchen – All veterans and active-duty military personnel will be able to select a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu that includes pizza, salads and pasta.

Cracker Barrel – Veterans and active duty military receive pumpkin pie latte (available iced or hot) or a slice or double chocolate fudge coca-cola cake.

Denny’s – Active, inactive and retired military personnel can receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. until noon. The offer is dine-in only.

Dunkin’ Donuts – Receive a free donut of your choice with no purchase necessary. Fans who wish to submit the name of a deployed member of the United States armed forces can do so here. Dunkin’ will surprise some of the members with a case of the brand’s ground Original Blend Coffee.

Famous Daves – All veterans and current military personnel can receive a free 2 Meat Salute with one side item and corn bread muffin. Must be present to claim their meal. Only the Veteran or active military person is eligible for the free entrée. Must show proof of service to receive discount. Dine-In only. Ribs may be excluded from this offer, depending on location.

Golden Corral – Veterans or active military personnel receive a free meal during Military Appreciation Night.

Goodyear – Free car care checks and free tire installation for all active and retired members of the U.S. military. The free car care check includes inspection of tires, brakes, alignment, battery, wiper blades and shock and struts. You can also receive free tire installation with any tire purchase during the promotional period. Service members can begin scheduling appointments Nov. 8-11 and redeem service through Nov. 16.

Graeter’s – Honoring free veterans with free sundaes.

Great Clips – Veterans and currently military members can visit salon on Veteran’s Day to receive a free haircut that day or free haircut card to use at a later date. Non-military customers can purchase a service and get a free haircut card to give to a veteran. Haircut cards are redeemable until Dec. 31.

IHOP – Receive a free red, white, and blueberry pancake combo for our veterans and active duty military. Beverages and gratuity not included. Dine-in only. Free menu item may vary by location.

Jet’s Pizza – Veterans can purchase any menu-prices pizza for 50 percent off with military ID. Deal is valid for pick-up orders only.

Joella’s Hot Chicken – Complimentary meal consisting of two jumbo tenders, a made-from-scratch southern side, a dippin’ sauce and a drink. Veterans and military personnel also receive 10 percent every day at all store locations.

Krispy Kreme – Veterans and active-duty military can receive one free donut and small coffee

Little Caesar’s – Active-duty military and veterans can receive a free $5 Hot-n-Ready Lunch Combo between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. which includes four slices of DEEP!DEEP! Dish pepperoni pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product.

Louisville Zoo – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Free general admission for active and retired military and their dependents. Members will receive 10 percent off gift shop purchases and 50 percent off food and drink concessions.

Main Event Entertainment – Enjoy a complimentary entree from a special menu and 30 minutes of game play

Mike’s Carwash – Free basic wash. There will be an option to upgrade to the ultimate wash for $5 with proceeds donated to Project Hero.

Mission BBQ – 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Free sandwich and cake. There will be a live performance of the National Anthem at noon.

Outback Steakhouse – Get 20 percent off your entire check with valid state of federal ID. Can’t go this weekend? You’ll receive 10 percent every day after Nov. 11.

Pilot J Flying – Free coffee of any size and one free PJ Fresh breakfast sandwich, breakfast pizza or breakfast grill item for active-duty and veterans from Nov. 8-11. Download the Pilot Flying J app to redeem the offer.

YMCA of Greater Louisville – Veterans and their families can visit any location free of charge Nov. 9-11.
