Netflix Is Watching Password Sharers

Oh SNAP.

If you think you’re getting away with sharing one Netflix password with several people, think again — officials at the streaming network say they know who you are.

And guess what…they’re working on a plan to crack down on non-paying users! Uh oh.  The product chief says they’ll look at “consumer-friendly ways to push on the edge of that.” Not sure what that means…

In spite of the rising number of illegitimate users, Netflix took on an additional 6.77 million paid subscribers in the quarter that ended in September, according to their latest earnings report.

Is it ILLEGAL? FOX Business has a report three years ago that said it was a federal offense under the computer fraud category.  YIKES.
