MTV Adds Three New Fan-Voted Categories To VMAs

MTV revealed three new fan-voted categories and that three acts will perform at the 2019 MTV VMAs pre-show.

Ava Max, CNCO and Megan Thee Stallion will perform at the pre-show. Terrence J and Nessa are hosting the red carpet, which will also feature special correspondent Zara Larsson and Hayley Kiyoko.

The VMAs are also introducing three new fan-voted categories this year: best group, best power anthem and song of summer, which fans can vote on via Instagram on MTV’s IG story.

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco is hosting..it’s airing Monday August 26th on MTV.
