The late Larry Lovestein’s final, posthumous studio album has landed.

Circles is slotted as a companion to 2018’s Grammy-nominated album Swimming and was completed with help from producer Jon Brion, who had been working on the project with Mac at the time of his passing in September 2018. “Two different styles complementing each other, completing a circle – Swimming in Circles was the concept” wrote Mac’s mother in the family’s message to fans.

Featuring the previously posted single Good News, putting the tape together was no easy task for those involved saying there was “no clear path” for releasing the project. Although there are no listed features many think there may be a special tribute from ex-girlfriend and pop sensation, Ariana Grande, in the form of background vocals on track No. 4, “I Can See.” Although she is yet to confirm or deny it, fans are already crying their eyes out.
