Louisville’s New KFC Will Donate Unsold Food

Louisville is no stranger to KFC, but there’s something different about the new one opening in Hikes Point.

The new Kentucky Fried Chicken opening off of Breckinridge Lane is one of four in the U.S. that will feature an “enhanced flagship design.” OOOO So fancy!!

Restaurant officials said the restaurant will have natural wood, exposed brick and oversized windows. It will also have a signature bucket chandelier, which we need in the studio!

But perhaps most uniquely, this KFC will give back to the community. Officials said KFC team members will pack and store unsold and wholesome food to donate to local nonprofits that provide meals to those in need weekly.
