Louisville Bowlers Set New Guinness World Record
A bowling team in Louisville set a new world record and raised money for a cancer charity at the same time.
Steve Wiseman, Trace Wiseman, Kyle Reed and Erik Howard were rolling strikes for 24 hours Monday at Lane One at Kingpin in Jeffersontown. They were going for the Guinness World Record title for the most strikes in a 24-hour period in 10-pin bowling with four people, a new category requiring a minimum 1,200 strikes.
They knocked that out in about 14 hours but they kept going for 24 hours, ending with a total 2,032 strikes.
Video and other evidence is now being submitted to get the official verification, but this isn’t the first rodeo for the Wiseman brothers! They already hold the world records for most pins knocked down in 24 hours by a team of two and the same record for a team of four.
