The Louisville Cardinal fans who made the hour and 30-minute trip to see former Louisville Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson in person weren’t disappointed.

Not only did the Baltimore Ravens blow out the Cincinnati Bengals 49-13, but he gave the fans their money’s worth.

The stands in Paul Brown Stadium saw orange (for the home team), purple (for the away team) and a lot of red, representing the Louisville Cardinals.

The crowd was chanting, “MVP, MVP” late in the game. They were also chanting UofL Cards chants to let Lamar know who has been a fan since the beginning!

He did make a strong case for the 2019 MVP award against the team’s AFC North rival.

He went 15 for 17 with 223 passing yards three touchdowns. One of the incompletions was a spiked ball to stop the clock.

He also ran for 65 yards on seven carries with a touchdown, a run that included a spin that took out three would-be Bengal defenders.
