Lady Gaga Didn’t Shut Down Rumor About Being A Man To Protect Others

A new series hit Netflix called What’s Next? The Future With Bill Gates, where the tech mogul discusses our world with big names like Lady Gaga,  Bernie Sanders, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Bono, and Jordan Klepper.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, Lady Gaga is discussing misinformation with Bill Gates during the series. Gaga has been in a position during her his rise to stardom where she was talked about as being secretly a man or perhaps intersex, but she chose not to shut those rumors down:

I didn’t answer the question was because I didn’t feel like a victim with that lie, but I thought, what about a kid that’s being accused of that that would think a public figure like me would feel shame?

I’ve been in situations where fixing a rumor was not in the best interest of the well-being of other people.
