Kendrick Lamar Will Headline Super Bowl Halftime Show

Following his guest appearance during Dr. Dre’s Super Bowl halftime performance in Los Angeles in 2022, Kendrick Lamar will now headline his own halftime show during Super Bowl LIX at the Superdome in New Orleans on February 9, 2025.

The announcement was made by the NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple Music only hours before the first Sunday of the 2024 NFL season kicked off. “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why,” Lamar said in a statement. “They got the right one.”
