Jennifer Lopez Is “Heartbroken” After Canceling Her Show Due to a Power Outage

If you paid to go see Jennifer Lopez and her show got cancelled part way through, the most disappointed person is Jennifer herself. She was only 4 songs into her show when a huge city-wide power outage occurred and everyone evacuated. She shared that she was “heartbroken” and “devastated”. 

The spookiest part is that it was on the anniversary of the 1977 NYC blackout.

In an Instagram video, she said, “We had just started our show. They’re asking everybody to evacuate very slowly and calmly. And that’s what we’re going to have to do. Obviously, we’re going to reschedule the show…I am obviously heartbroken and devastated…I’m very sad. I love you. I’m so sorry this has happened in the middle of our moment. If everything goes well and the power comes back on tomorrow, I have said that I will come back on Monday before my show in Boston on Tuesday to do the show.”

Luckily she came back strong and made an announcement that she is rescheduling the show for Monday night!
