JAY-Z marked his 50th birthday with a very special gift, not for him, but for his fans. The hip-hop legend and owner of streaming platform TIDAL has restored his entire music catalog to Spotify and Apple Music.

In what I considered to be a criminal act, JAY-Z pulled his discography from his competitions streaming services and made them exclusive to TIDAL in 2017. Since then, the only Hov tapes fans were able to stream outside of TIDAL were Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime, Vol. 1Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life and Collision Course, his 2004 album with Linkin Park.

Now true hip hop heads can finally stream classic compilations like The Black Album, Watch The Throne and Kingdom Come again and shame the taste  of the youth of today!

One of the streamers made the announcement on Twitter today, writing “Happy birthday, Hov. Welcome back to Spotify.”

Which album are you playing first?
