Iowa Football Fan Who Asked for Beer Money on TV Ends Up Giving Over $40,000 to a Children’s Hospital
Meet Carson King, an Iowa college student who just wanted to get on ESPN’s College GameDay. To say he ended up successful, is a MASSIVE understatement!
Carson held up a sign that said “Busch Light Supply Needs Replenished, Venmo Me”. ESPN saw the sign and immediately money started hitting his account.
UPDATE: As of Friday night, the amount in his Venmo account has risen to more than $245,000. That means with the matching donations along with additional donations from local businesses, the children’s hospital will get at least $795,000. AND Carson gets his face on a Busch Light can!!! And he gets a year’s supply of Busch Light.

We see a lot of great stories, but this is one of our favs @CarsonKing2. Count us in for matching the donation to the hospital, too. #ftk💛@BuschBeer @CollegeGameDay https://t.co/thS8JXOXC3
