Alijah Cromartie’s senior year did not go as planned when the senior ended up on a ventilator in the hospital fighting for his life against COVID-19. Luckily, he defeated the disease, and was still able to walk in his cap and gown….with a graduation ceremony at the hospital!
When Alijah was finally discharged after over a month, he was reunited with his family!
A teen was discharged from the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan after recovering from COVID-19. Alijah Cromartie wore his cap and gown because his graduation ceremonies were put on hold. The staff at the Institute “clapped him out” as he was reunited with his family. pic.twitter.com/OKO6kwbTBn
