Here’s A Close-Up Look At Kanye West’s Dome Houses…And They’re COOL!

Kanye West is moving ahead with temporary prototypes for new age housing … housing that blurs the line between low, middle and high-income communities. He built the 4 dome-like structures on the 300 acres he owns in Calabasas, and his plan was to create a full housing complex on the site.
The idea is housing for the homeless and the inspiration was Star Wars. They look like the houses on Luke Skywalker’s planet Tatooine. In addition to bridging the income gap, Kanye wanted to reimagine the concept of space and make more efficient dwellings for the future. The only problem is he has to get the right permits by September 15th, or tear them down, after an inspector determined they were permanent structures.
