Known as De Vere House in Lavenham, Suffolk, England, the 600-year-old residence was the setting for the title character’s birth in the JK Rowling series.

Now referred to by locals as “The Harry Potter House,” guests can pick one of the two bedrooms, each featuring a four-poster bed with en-suite bathroom. In the morning, a full English breakfast is served.

To complete the experience, the property is claimed to be haunted, with resident ghost Sir Francis De Vere said to be the inspiration for the character Nearly Headless Nick.
