Guy Proposes To His Girlfriend Because Of A Car Fire
Myers Hart was driving on the interstate in Tennessee with his high school sweetheart, Brooklynn Stevens, and her friend when they hear a loud pop. He pulled over and quickly realized the car was on fire. “I think the coolant reservoir blew and it shot the hood up and spewed fluid everywhere and then it went up in flames,” Hart said. Everybody got out safely but there was one thing left behind!
Hart realized he still had an engagement ring he had been hiding in the car, but by now the car was fully engulfed in flames. So when fire crews arrived, he quietly asked firefighters to look for it and they found the charred box with the ring still perfect! Hart took that as a sign, asked the firefighters to film on his phone and dropped to one knee on the side of the road next to the charred car. Brooklyn said, “He gets on one knee and I’m like, ‘Here?’ and I started crying. I said, ‘Here? Right now? Like the car just caught on fire are you serious? I mean yes! Yes of course I want to. But like the car.’ And he was like. ‘I know.”
