We knew a while back that Ellen Degeneres was doing a comedy tour, but now everyone gets to see what she was joking about in a new Netflix special dropping Tuesday, September 24.

In the trailer for her new special, Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval, she jokes about getting kicked out of show business,

Yeah, the “be kind” girl wasn’t kind. That was the headline. Here’s the problem. I am a comedian who got a talk show and I ended the show every day by saying “be kind to one another.”

Had I ended my show by saying, “go f*** yourselves,” people would’ve been pleasantly surprised to find out I’m kind.
