DMX Has Passed Away at Age 50

Rapper DMX has passed away at age 50 after being hospitalized due to a heart attack triggered by a drug overdose. His family announced the heartbreaking news, April 9th.
His family was by his side at the hospital when he passed.
The Universal Hip Hip Museum will honor DMX at its forthcoming opening in 2023. Construction is underway on the museum, and when it opens, there will be a collection and archive that he will be included in. Chief Curator of the museum said, “If Tupac was the heart of hip-hop, DMX was the soul. DMX was that realness, that grittiness, he didn’t create the grittiness of DMX to rap — that’s who he was.”
The museum will be located in the Bronx.
