Disney Channel’s Cameron Boyce Passes From Epilepsy Seizure

Fans and colleagues were devastated at the sad news that Disney Channel Star Cameron Boyce passes away at the age of 20.

His family released a statement saying he passed away in his sleep on Saturday after suffering a seizure “which was a result of an ongoing medical condition he was being treated for,” which turned out to be epilepsy.   His roommate found him unresponsive and called 911. About 1 in 1000 people with epilepsy die from seizures. It’s rare but can happen according to doctors.

Co-stars and friends like Adam Sandler (“Grown Ups”) and Peyton List and Skai Jackson from “Jessie” posted tributes on social media.

He had finished filming “Descendants 3” premiering on the Disney Channel August 2, and was about to start press for that project. He was also working on the series “Paradise City”.
