David Blaine Is Going To Fly Over NYC Holding Helium Balloons

Master illusionist David Blaine will go from guessing cards through the screen with Ellen Degeneres, to flying over  New York City holding only helium balloons. Yesterday Blaine tweeted, “This stunt has been 10 years in the making. Let’s turn worry into wonder and take magic to new heights.”

The event will stream live August 31st on YouTube Originals. No word yet on how many balloons Blaine will need to rise, some calculations will need to be made.
