Courageous Carter Got TONS Birthday Cards!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY “Courageous” Carter Matthew Willett! He turned 10 on October 17th and he’s been battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer, since last November. He’s getting chemo treatments at Norton Children’s Hospital, and all he wanted for this birthday birthday cards. LOTS of them. And so far, he’s gotten OVER 25,000 CARDS AND tons of packages from around the globe! And STILL COUNTING!
He even had firefighters bring trucks to his house the morning of his birthday!
So far Carter has received gifts from Cabela’s, Bass Pro Shops, KFC, Arby’s and the U.S. Air Force. Thank you to all who shared his story and made this happen! Hoping this helps him get through his last few chemo treatments!
His dad Joshua posted this on Facebook: This is my son Carter. He also goes by Courageous Carter. For the past year he has been battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare cancer. We’ve also had people ask what Carter likes. Carter loves all things spooky, Goosebumps, Scooby Doo, Five Nights at Freddy’s. He likes to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid books too. He loves playing his Nintendo Switch which he plays a lot of Fortnite and Super Smash Bros on. His favorite candies are Skittles, Starburst, sour gummies and dum-dum’s. He actually does not like chocolate. He loves Chick Fil A, Arby’s and Pizza.
