Bruce Willis showed signs of mental decline for years before announcing his retirement from acting on Wednesday due to aphasia.

Aphasia is a devastating condition that steals a person’s ability to communicate, making it difficult to write or speak or even understand what others are saying. People with aphasia can have problems finding words, use words out of order, speak in a choppy, halting manner or use short fragments of speech. They can even make up nonsense words and sprinkle those into their speech and writing. It’s more common that Parkinson’s Disease, cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy.

In light of this recent news, The Razzies, has taken back their award (that honors the WORST in film).  They named him Worst Actor for his movie “Cosmic Sin”, which was one of 8 he made in a year. They said, “If someone’s medical condition is a factor in their decision making and/or their performance, we acknowledge that it is not appropriate to give them a Razzie.”
