‘Bachelor’ Producer Addresses Dating Rumors…And No, Barb Isn’t To Blame

“The Bachelor” producer Julie LaPlaca addressed rumors that she and Peter Weber were more than just friends during his season.

LaPlaca took to Instagram Friday to post a photo of herself with the pilot on New Year’s Eve in Times Square alongside caption, “Yes that was @pilot_pete in the tan jacket, no we didn’t kiss at midnight. But whoever ends up as his copilot for life is one lucky lady, because this guy has a heart of gold… #TheBachelor.”

Last month, video was released of Weber and the producer dancing and sharing a bottle of wine with his mom, Barbara, at The Stonehaus winery in Westlake Village, California, near Weber’s home.

Longtime “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison continued to fuel dating rumors when he told Access that the pair “spend a lot of time together,” later weighing in on their status.

“I’ll just say this, it’s an intimate relationship,” Harrison said. You spend that much time together, we all get close. Sometimes those lines get blurred.”

Weber recently addressed whispers that his mother was the catalyst for his breakup with Madison Prewett days after the finale, saying he and Prewett “mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further.”
