An Ed Sheeran Painting Sold At Auction To Raise Money Fighting Cancer

One of Ed Sheeran’s “Splash Planet” paintings was sold at auction, raising more than $70,000 for a cancer charity. It’s an abstract that resembles one of artist Jackson Pollock’s “drip” paintings, and was won by a bidder on the East Coast of the U.S. who paid $27 for a raffle ticket to the event.
The sale raised $70,689 for the Cancer Campaign in Suffolk. Ed says it was one of images featured on the cover of his 2020 “Afterglow” single.
