A Man Claims Ellen Degeneres Bullied Him When He Was 11

More people are coming out of the woodwork claiming Ellen Degeneres is not the kind person she makes herself out to be on TV. A 52-year-old man claims DeGeneres bullied him as an 11-year-old boy, calling him “fat” and “stupid.”

Ben Gravolet said Ellen worked for his mom’s recruitment agency in the late 1970s when she was 20 at the time. He said,  “She would criticize my weight. I would try to do homework in the office, she’d call me stupid, she’d call me fat. She would criticize my clothes. I was just a boy and this was a grown woman who took pleasure in seeing me become visibly upset.”

She apparently said, “You’re fat. You might want to lose some of that weight chunky boy.”  According to Gravolet,  Ellen “was just the meanest, nastiest, most horrible person.”

His allegations follow claims from dozens of staff on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” who have said that racism, bullying and sexual harassment happen at the show.
