KHS “Find Your Love” Adoption Special
WHAT: Adopters can pick their own price for adoption fees for pets 4 months and older through KHS’s “Find Your Love” Adoption Special
WHEN: February 10-14, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the KHS Main Campus and East Campus; regular store hours at Feeders Supply Adoption Centers
WHERE: All 9 area adoption locations – KHS Main Campus and East Campus, 7 Feeders Supply stores
Potential adopters must bring a much-needed item to secure this deal. Items needed include bleach, dog or cat treats, regular clay cat litter, used blankets and towels, and multi-packs of paper towels.
All pets adopted from KHS have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and given worm, flea and tick preventatives – services valued at nearly $250. In addition to receiving a $100 Feeders Supply coupon book, adopters also receive more than $125 in KHS pet care gift certificates for behavior training, Doggie Daycare, boarding and more!

Raisin’ the Rent
The 6th annual Raisin’ the Rent party is set for Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 7 to 11pm at The Olmstead, 3701 Frankfort Avenue. Tickets are $25 through St. John Center, or $30 at the door. The attire is snappy casual! Masterson’s Catering will provide appetizers and a light meal, with music by The Remedy and live magical illusions by Patrick and Janice Miller. This June, the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) will host its 18th annual fundraiser WAGGIN' TRAIL. Join hundreds of animal lovers to truly make a difference in the lives of needy animals.
The area's original walk for the animals will be held at EP Tom Sawyer Park on Saturday, June 2. The 5K timed run will begin at 9 a.m., with registration opening at 8 a.m. The 1-mile Fun Walk will begin at 10:00 a.m., with registration begin at 9:00 a.m. Click here for more info and to get registered.
