Madonna is mostly getting a thumbs up from the public for her Super Bowl 46 halftime show. Nearly three-quarters of the respondents in an ongoing AccessHollywood.com poll say they "loved it," while just 28-percent "hated it." LMAFO, Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., and Cee Lo Green joined her during the set that included “Vogue”, “Music”, “Express Yourself”, “Like
a Prayer” and her new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'." Not to say it went off completely without a hitch. NBC is apologizing for the finger-ful the audience got from British singer M.I.A. during the show. M.I.A.'s middle finger gesture was accompanied by an almost audible four-letter lyric. They say their censors caught it a little late. By the way, Cee Lo apparently had a good time in Indy, dropping $10,000 at an Indy strip club.
Tons of celebs popped up again in this year’s Super Bowl ads…Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld teamed up for a commercial for the new Acura NSX, while Elton John, Flavor Flav, and "The X Factor" winner Melanie Amaro starred in a spot for Pepsi. Of course there was Matthew Broderick channeling Ferris Bueller for Honda, David Beckham modeling his line of underwear for H&M…Regis Philbin, Will Arnett, Mark Cuban, and Jillian Michaels also appeared in ads. Demi Moore has checked into the Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah and is on "total lockdown," and only speaking with a small group of people. A source says Demi felt that her way of dealing with stress was not working, and she "needed more help.”
In the meantime, RADAR Online claims Ashton Kutcher has been spending time with Demi. A source says, "This has been a very hard time for Ashton. He loves Demi very much, and he feels absolutely helpless right now. Ashton and Demi have been praying together at her house, and he mainly just wants to provide comfort to her right now. “This absolutely isn't a reconciliation, but there is still a lot of love there and he would never turn his back on her -- it's just not who Ashton is."
Have no fear, Eddie Murphy is alive and well…According to TMZ.com, reports started circulating last Friday that he had died suddenly. The bogus report was reportedly triggered by MediaFetcher.com which has falsely reported on deaths involving celebrities such as Jon Bon Jovi, Charlie Sheen, Adam Sandler, among others in recent months.
Gleeks know how to party! “Glee” star Corey Monteith and his roommate threw a birthday bash at their house this weekend that apparently got so loud their neighbors called the cops to complain about the noise. But Cory and his roommate were reportedly very nice to the officers and agreed to shut things down and call it a night. Monteith's roommate, however, was still given a ticket for the loud music.
Daniel Radcliffe admitted he was drunk while filming some scenes for the Harry Potter movies during a period in his life where he was drinking nightly. "I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem. …I can honestly say I never drank at work on Harry Potter. I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where I'm just gone. Dead behind the eyes," he said.
Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg is going to have to pay $1.5 billion in income taxes after the company's shares begin public trading. The tax bill will reduce Zuckerberg's wealth to $24 billion. In the meantime, U2's Bono owns 1.5% of Facebook, so his shares will be worth $1 billion when the company begins publicly trading.
Lance Bass is producing a new TV show called Famous Yard Sale. Producer Liz Gateley says it will feature celebs holding garage sales and then donating their profits to charity. "A little bit of [MTV’s] Cribs, a little bit of the Barbara Walters aspect where the celebrity is walking down memory lane, and a little bit of Pawn Stars."
Good news..Octomom is engaging in professional pillow fighting. RADAR Online says she earns $1,500 every time she steps in the ring.
Despite an offer to film their spin-off show in Pennsylvania, Snooki and JWoww are hoping to shoot in Jersey. Producers are looking at South Jersey as another possibility.
